How to make an invoice
- Pick the type: Standard for most invoices, Saudi VAT, Pakistan sales tax, or Brand deal if you are a creator billing a sponsor.
- Fill in your details and the client's. Add your logo if you have one. Your details are remembered in this browser for next time.
- Add a line for each product, service or deliverable with the quantity and price. Change the tax % on any line, add a discount or an amount already paid.
- Check the preview, then Download PDF. Use Start next invoice to keep your details and get the next number.
What each mode adds
- Saudi VAT: Arabic and English labels, “Tax Invoice” or “Simplified Tax Invoice”, VAT numbers, 15% VAT worked out on every line, totals in SAR and the five-field ZATCA QR code. ZATCA's invoicing guideline says a tax invoice must be in Arabic (other languages may be added) and the VAT must be shown in riyals, and that simplified invoices are for sales under SAR 1,000 or to consumers. Type your item descriptions in Arabic too. If ZATCA has called your business into phase 2 (integration), your invoices must come from software connected to Fatoora. ZATCA guideline (checked November 2026); check with ZATCA for your case.
- Pakistan sales tax: NTN and STRN for both sides, and for every line the value excluding tax, the rate, the sales tax and the value including tax, the details section 23 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990 asks for. The rate starts at the standard 18% for goods; services are taxed by the provinces (PRA, SRB, KPRA, BRA) and the ICT at their own rates, so set yours on each line. Check with FBR or your provincial authority.
- Brand deal: lines become deliverables, with a campaign name, the usage rights you are granting, Net 30 terms and a late-payment note (only include a fee your contract allows).
Frequently asked questions
Is this invoice generator really free?
Yes. You can make and download as many invoices as you like, with your logo and no watermark, without an account.
Where are my invoices saved?
Only in this browser on this device. Your details and the invoices you download are kept here so you can reopen them or start the next one with the number already counted up. Nothing is uploaded to ToolPeasy. Keep the PDFs you download, because clearing your browser data removes the saved copies.
Can I make a Saudi VAT invoice with the ZATCA QR code?
Yes. Saudi VAT mode prints Arabic and English labels, 15% VAT per line, the totals in SAR and the five-field ZATCA QR code. Businesses that ZATCA has called into phase 2 (integration) must issue invoices from an e-invoicing system connected to Fatoora instead.
Can I invoice in Arabic or Urdu?
Yes. Type in any language your device has fonts for, and tick Right-to-left to lay the invoice out from the right.
The PDF holds each page as a sharp 200 dpi picture, so every script prints exactly as you see it. ToolPeasy is not a tax adviser; check the rules that apply to you with your tax authority.
